Nel giugno 1942 una pattuglia di Bersaglieri dell’VIII Rgt. “Ariete”, con autoblindo AB-41 e motociclette, giunse in vista di Alessandria, segnando il punto di massima penetrazione verso Est delle forze dell’Asse.
Alcuni figurini in questo lavoro sono piuttosto “antichi” e sono riconoscibili per la definizione molto approssimata. Risalgono ad una scatola Italaerei degli anni ’70, ritrovata in cantina assieme ad altre. Il risultato finale è alquanto modesto, ma sono stati usati con piacere.
In June, 1942 a mechanized infantry “Bersaglieri” group, equipped with AB-41 armoured cars and motorcycles, came into wiew of Alessandria. This has been the most eastern point reached by the Axis troops.
Bersaglieri were (and still are today) the elite infantry of the armoured divisions. These belong to the 8th rgt., arm. div. “Ariete”.
Some of these plastic fugures are quite old, belonging to a ’70 years Italaerei box. They can be easlily recognized due to their rough finishing, but it has been a pleasure to bring them to light after so long.
